Oktoberfest South Haven is held in downtown South Haven and celebrates the wonders of Michigan's harvest season including the great outdoors,  food, people, fall colors,  harvest season, and craft beverages!

YDC is the largest independent youth organization in Van Buren County, MI and plays a vital role in the lives of children and young adults in Southwest Michigan. Their vision is that every child knows that they have a safe place they can count on to celebrate who they are, develop their dreams and be empowered to achieve success.

So enjoy the YDC Pancake & Sausage Breakfast for only $10 and join us in supporting this great organization!

South Haven Oktoberfest Run/Walk! Put your sandals into sport mode or lace up your shoes and prepare for a fantastic event that combines community spirit and the festive atmosphere of Oktoberfest! Open to serious and not so serious runners, and power walkers.  Each participant will receive a timing chip so they can see how they rank in their category.  For the first time at any event in South Haven you'll run along a scenic course that includes North Beach, the Black River, and South Beach!

Of course, it wouldn't be Oktoberfest South Haven without bacon and brats! We're fortunate to  have an award winning bacon and brat maker right here in our backyard - Bob's Processing. Bob's has won over 100 state blue ribbons, 10 National Championships, and 2 Gold Medals at the International IFFA show put on by the German Butcher Association. 

At the awards ceremonies, those who reach the winners podium will go home with a gift certificate for an assortment of Bob's Processing world famous brats, franks and bacon! The rest of us will have to be satisfied with supporting a great cause and buying a YDC Pancake & Sausage Breakfast!

The first 250 to cross the finish line grab an Oktoberfest South Haven Stein. While all participants will enjoy an ice cold Harbor Light Brewery beer or root beer. (Must be over 21 with valid ID to be served beer.)

• Distance - 5.5K
• Registration Fee - Early Bird - $35 ends 9/8. Regular - $40 ends Friday 9/22. Oh I forgot same day registration - 9/23 online only from  Midnight to 8 AM.
• Start Time - 8 AM September 23, 2023
• Registered participants will receive our fabulous suspenders t-shirt until they run out, the first 250 registrants get an Oktoberfest Stein, all finishers savor a tasty finishers refreshment brewed by Harbor Light Brewery!. 

Every awesome event needs awesome volunteers and we need you!

This is a family fun event so bring the whole family to enjoy the fun.  We love dogs and other pets, but unfortunately, we can't allow them to run in the race.  Baby strollers are welcome as long as participants start in the back of the race with them.  Come out and join us on September 23rd for what may be the most beautiful race you will do this year!!!!!
